Kent State University

I am a Junior Philosophy major in my third active semester as a Delta Upsilon man. My experiences in DU have forever altered my perception on life and the importance of prioritizing what is important to a person. I have learned to love putting myself in awkward situations because of the Diffusion of Liberal Culture. I have learned to approach random strangers and befriend them without an introduction from some mutual acquaintance through the Promotion of Friendship. I have learned to put others before me via the Advancement of Justice. I have learned to cultivate my talents and interests in a multitude of methods due to the Development of Character. I have learned to love my brothers not only here at Kent State, but all over this great world we live in. I have learned the value of an unbiased opinion. I have become a leading member of my social network and an instrumental piece of the Kent State puzzle, and I owe all these things and many many more to this organization and some of the key people that have influenced my life because of my opportunity to become a Delta Upsilon at Kent State.
