My name is Jeffrey Hammond and i pledged in Fall of 2008. My brother Mike was a DU before me. I played varsity football, basketball and baseball for 2 years in high school. I was on homecoming court for 2 years and was very involved in school. I rushed with my best friend Joey Andulics. Joey and I have been best friends since we were two years old and have always talked about going to college and living together since we were youngsters. Without him and my other brothers I would feel lost on campus and not know what to do with myself. My life changed completely last year when one of my closest friends/cousin was diagnosed with a severe case of cancer. Maturity was forced upon me when he needed someone to be there for him. My brother Mike has been the biggest influence on me and is one of the reasons i joined DU. DU creates great leaders, such as my brother, and creates gentleman. I love all my brothers and can't wait for all the great times we will have.
